How Are You Joining The Conversation?

Art creates and reflects meaning. It is an important part of the conversation and can often help inform far better than words alone. Throughout every struggle in history, image and symbol have played an integral role. This is no different today, in fact perhaps in our highly visual modern world, we rely art more than ever whether we realize it or not. Art often boldly goes where words cannot quite reach. Read on for three opportunities to make your art part of the current discussion.

Philadelphia Stories is also accepting submissions for a Black Lives Matter issue. In their own words:”We want to share stories of Black life. Praxis Center believes strongly in the power of art to educate, inform, celebrate and question. We know how important it is to be able to express and have that expression find its way to the wider world. We nurture artists along this path, helping them make sure their work has the opportunity to fulfill its purpose as an important part of the fabric of human history.
