Every artist is first and foremost a human being. That means that while navigating the complexities of the art world, every artist is also conducting their life outside the studio. Sometimes these two things do not mesh well – whether there is some sort of personal stress or a collective concern, even the littlest things can knock you off course. The way to combat this is by being prepared. Having opportunities lined up and more on the horizon keeps you moving forward even when life may feel like it’s at a standstill.
