Do You Believe in Magic?

We stand now at the precipice of a new year. A world of opportunity and possibility awaits those who choose to reach for it. Although there is no particular magic to the first of the year, it is a symbol of new beginning, a chance to reset and re-calibrate our expectations and ambitions. The magic is what we ourselves create, the paths we manifest before us.

Alien Magazine invites artists to submit their work for consideration for their biannual digital literary magazine. They admit that they often don’t know what it is they’re looking for until they see it, so artists are encouraged to be bold and take risks. For full submission details, visit the website. New Hampshire artists are encouraged to apply for an Artist Entrepreneurial Grant through New Hampshire State Council on the Arts. The state of New Hampshire recognizes the importance of the creative workforce within the state economy and these grants are intended to support both the artists and the overall economic well being of the state. Artist INC is “a cutting edge training seminar that addresses the specific business needs and challenges artists of all disciplines face every day.” The spring session is currently accepting applications for the eight week seminar which runs every Wednesday evening.
