Does One of These Belong to You?

Opportunities abound. You simply have to know where to look. Once you begin to unlock the perceived mystery of the art world, you realize that it is accessible if you understand where your work fits and that it is achievable with a commitment to be persistent in your pursuit of success. We like to say that you will never be selected for an opportunity you don’t apply for so what are you waiting for. Check out these three international calls for submission and get to work.

Eschucha Mi Voz Poster Contest 2019 extends an invitation to all artists and designers to enter their Human Rights themed designs. In the words of the organization:

It is impossible to think of reaching sustainable cities and communities in harmony unless we change to improve the way we have managed the construction of cities and their management.

Making cities safe and sustainable means ensuring access to safe and affordable housing, and upgrading slum settlements. It also involves investment in public transport, creating green public spaces, and improving urban planning and management in a way that is both participatory and inclusive.

With this in mind, visit the website to see complete details and submit your entries by June 15. 30-50 winners will be chosen for a traveling exhibition in Mexico as well as likely in Latin American and North American countries.

Prisma International Art Prize invites artists to submit their work for consideration. Every three months a prize of 500 euros is awarded and once a year a prize of 2000 euros. Selected artists are also included in an online exhibition with the chance for inclusion in a live exhibition in Italy. For complete details, visit the website. Deadline is June 15. Up to three submissions per artist.

Photographic Exploration Project invites photographers to submit their work for the chance at an August exhibition in Berlin, Germany. The theme of this open call is Interior exploring the insides of places, what they say about their inhabitants, what intention they were built with and so forth. Check the website for further details. All entrants may submit one to three pieces for a June 20 deadline.
