How Has Your Year Been?

Now is a time to pause, reflect, consider the year that has passed – one the likes of which we have not seen in our lifetime – and look ahead to what lies before us. Take time to rest, to settle your mind after a busy and perhaps difficult time. Refresh and emerge ready to take on what comes next. Find your opportunities for 2021 and get those applications rolling. This year is water under the bridge, but there is open ocean ahead.

New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) is accepting applications for their next round of artist fiscal sponsorship. This opportunity has four deadlines throughout the course of the year, offering multiple chances to connect with a source of potentially significant funding for your work. Visit the website for more information. Deadline for this final cycle of 2020 is December 30.

Georgetown Arts and Culture Board, located in Georgetown, Texas, is accepting applications for their first round of grant funding for 2021. Grants are intended to support events taking place during the granting period and are offered to a wide array of cultural styles including visual arts. For more details, visit the website. Deadline for applications is December 31.

CUE is currently accepting proposals for artist-centered public programs including events, talks, and workshops, to be presented virtually via the CUE art space. Programming should focus on timely issues and contribute to CUE’s mission of supporting under-recognized and emerging artists. There is a small honorarium and budget available for those selected.
