Even in the darkest times, we can be assured that this, too, shall pass and we will once again be met with a world before us ready to be explored. Be ready for that time. Goethe Institut in South Africa invites artists to submit their work for consideration in an exhibition about those things that allow us to move – whether figuratively or literally. In these days of lockdowns and restricted movement, The Archive of Mobility is an archive that explores the many ways in which we move. For more information, visit the website. Tuo-Tuo in Finland announces its Seasonal Open Call for 2021-22. This series of four residencies is open to various creators depending on the time of year. From poets to bakers, herbalists to visual and performing artists/musicians, there is a season for everybody. Each residency period reflects the environment and the particular influence of the season. For more information, visit the website. Please note there is a fee for residency participation. Artists based in the Euregio region (the cross-border region between the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium) are invited to apply for residency at Greylights Project in Heerlen, Netherlands. Those applying can be of any nationality, as long as they are settled in this geographic region. This residency focuses on and supports artist’s research.
