Are You Taking Enough Chances?

Taking chances can feel uncomfortable, but it’s how we get ahead in life. Not every chance you take will pan out the way you hope, but that is no reason not to keep trying. After all, the only chance you definitely won’t succeed in is the one you never take. As an artist pursuing a career doing what you love, consciously stepping outside your comfort zone is part of the job. So take those chances, do it regularly, and don’t worry about succeeding every time.

Leipzig Festival of Lights 2024 announces a call for artists. In their own words:

“Calling “We are the people” and “No violence”, around 70,000 people gathered on October 9, 1989, to march along Leipzig’s inner city ring road, demonstrating for freedom and democracy and thus paving the way for the fall of the Wall, for the unity of Germany and Europe. The dramatic events of autumn 1989 still move people today.
