Want to See the World? Here’s How!

Read on for three opportunities that just might change your life.

AiR 351 in Portugal invites artists to apply for the Gulbenkian grant which supports recipients during the AiR 351 residency period. Residency period lasts three months during which time artists receive a $1000 euro stipend to help cover living costs. Travel grants for those traveling from Europe or outside of Europe are also available. For more details and to read about the program, visit the AiR 351 site. Deadline for applications is March 15.

Copper Leg Art Residency in Estonia is accepting applications. There is a 500 euro materials stipend as well as shared studio, darkroom, co-working space and installation space. The residency can accommodate 2-3 artists per residency period and is located about 15 minutes drive from Tallinn, the capital city of Estonia. Access Arts in Columbia, Missouri offers live in and non live in residencies. All participating artists receive studio space in exchange for 10-15 hours of service work during the residency period. Access Arts is a learning institution and many of the classes are taught by the artists in the residency program. Residencies vary based upon available programs. Presently Access Arts is accepting applications for those interested in residency in painting, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, photography and digital video production.
