Children move through the world with remarkable openness, meeting people, ideas, and experiences without the layers of judgment and self-consciousness that can accumulate with age. What if adulthood didn’t have to mean losing that openness entirely? Jürgen Mayer H., who joined us in 2016, explores the relationship between architecture, technology, and urban life through highly organic structures and experimental public spaces. His work considers emerging architectural typologies, overlapping programs, and the rituals and rhythms of contemporary cities, approaching the metropolis as a landscape in continual transformation.
