What is opportunity? Is it something formal, something hard to reach? Or is it anything that opens a door that was previously shut? As an artist, it is up to you to pursue opportunity at every turn. Whether that means reaching for the big prizes or lining up many smaller moments, every single thing that helps progress your career or enriches your practice is an opportunity work taking.

Photographic Exploration Project invites artists to take part in Public Spaces, a collective photography exhibition in Lisbon. Think streets, squares, parks, beaches, forests, paths, etc. Any public space can be the muse for works of art. Calling all design students, professionals and enthusiasts, Lexus has an opportunity for you. The Lexus Design Award 2020 asks that you “anticipate a challenge of the future, address that challenge with an innovative solution, and captivate the imagination with its exceptional design.” Six finalists will exhibit in NYC before heading to Milan Design Week. The Sixth Children’s Book International Prize Ciutat de Benicarlo invites artists to submit illustrated works for consideration.
