You Gotta Keep The Faith

Building a career in the art world requires faith, persistence, and preparation. While the path is never linear, every skill developed, relationship cultivated, and opportunity pursued becomes part of a larger foundation. Investing in strong resources, continuing to learn, and remaining open to growth all help artists navigate uncertainty with confidence. Trusting the process doesn’t mean waiting to be discovered, it means showing up consistently, refining your work, and believing that dedication and resilience will create opportunities in ways you may not yet be able to see.

Centrum’s 2027 residencies offer artists dedicated time, workspace, and community at Fort Worden State Park, supporting creative development across disciplines in the inspiring setting of Port Townsend, Washington. Learn more at the website. Deadline is June 30.
