“When I dare to be powerful, to use my strength in the service of my vision, then it becomes less and less important whether I am afraid.”
Audre Lorde, When I Dare to be Powerful
There comes a time when chasing a vision matters more than waiting for your confidence to show up. The truth is, the fear never really disappears, but it begins to loosen when we focus our energy on the work, the purpose, and the possibilities ahead. Adelisa Selimbašić joined us recently to talk about Where We Become Each Other, her current exhibition, which runs until June 21 at Lubov Gallery.
