We Are Here Festival celebrates indigenous past, present and future. Artists submitting work must identify as Indigenous, Native American, American Indian, Aboriginal, First Nations, and/or any other term meaning original peoples of a land, territory, and/or nation. Icelandic Textile Center awards two month scholarships for artists in the Nordic-Baltic region. The scholarships are intended for those artists working in the textiles field who wish to come develop and present work in Iceland. A total of six scholarships will be awarded.
