Sometimes life demands we let go of what we can’t control and discover new ways to grow through uncertainty. Everyone struggles at this, it is human nature to recoil from suffering and avoid those things we know lie outside our comfortable bubble of presumed safety. But there are just times when it becomes blankly apparent that our only option is to go with the flow, so to speak. Learning to lean into these moments can be the beginning of a more independent and whole existence.
Anna Johnson joined us to talk about Nuage et Vide, her recent show at Kutlesa Gallery. Throughout her life, Johnson has moved back and forth between New York and Australia, two places that influence her abstract works.
