Should You Put All Your Eggs In One Basket? Maybe Sometimes…

Sometimes there are multiple opportunities on offer from the same program. This is the case with Headlands Center for the Arts, who we are featuring in this week’s resource blog. They currently have three separate opportunities on offer – two awards and an AIR program. Check out all three and see if one – or more – is right for you.

The Arts Artist in Residence (AIR) program offers 4–10 week fully sponsored residencies for 50 artists annually, including studio space, meals, housing, and expenses, fostering community and collaboration across all media. To learn more, visit the website. Deadline for applications is June 2.

In their own words: The Chiaro Award is a fully sponsored artist residency and $15,000 prize for a mid-career painter residing in the United States. In their own words: Chamberlain Award is a fully sponsored artist residency and $10,000 prize to support an artist working in the social practice discipline This award supports artists employing non-traditional media to creatively engage with social concerns of the day.
